The Padmavati Story
Twenty-seven years, three generations, and one unchanging promise — purity you can trust, beauty you can love.
From a 100 sq-ft workshop to the city's most loved jewellery house
In 1998, master goldsmith Shantikumar Soni opened a modest workshop on MG Road with a single bench, two karigars and a conviction that jewellery should be sold the way it is crafted — with honesty. He etched the BIS hallmark on every piece when most of the market still wouldn't, and word travelled from family to family.
Today his grandchildren run Padmavati Jewellers with the same scales he used to weigh his first bangle. Our atelier blends time-honoured karigari — kundan, meenakari, temple work — with certified modern diamond-setting, and our Gold SIP plan helps over 8,000 families celebrate every festival debt-free.
We remain, above all, a family jeweller: the kind that remembers your anniversary, resizes a gift at midnight before a wedding, and never lets a purity question go unanswered.
Values Cast in Every Piece
Purity, certified
Every ornament is BIS hallmarked and every diamond IGI/GIA certified. The certificate travels with the jewel, for life — no exceptions, no fine print.
Handcrafted heritage
Our 40 in-house karigars average 19 years at the bench. Kundan, filigree, temple work — techniques passed down, perfected daily.
Honest pricing
Transparent gold rates, itemised making charges and a published exchange policy. The price we quote is the price you pay — always.
